This Police t-shirt features a promotional image for the band’s live performance in Japan in 1980. The image is the cover artwork for the band’s second album, Reggatta de Blanc.
Reggatta de Blanc was released in 1979, and became an instant success with a track list that included “Message In A Bottle”, “Walking On The Moon” and “It’s Alright For You”. The Police set out on a world tour in support of the album, with a stop in Japan in 1980. Portions of the live performances in Japan appeared in the concert tour VHS tape titled The Police Around The World.
