Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott came up with the band’s name when he was in an art class in school. The name was originally spelled correctly, but original drummer Tony Kenning suggested they change the spelling. With a new spelling, Def Leppard became one of the biggest rock bands of all time. Their hits include “Pour Some Sugar On Me”, “Photograph”, “Armageddon It” and “Foolin'”.
