This Batman t-shirt shows the Caped Crusader and the Clown Prince of Crime laughing at the punchline to the Joker’s joke at the end of the 1988 graphic novel Batman: The Killing Joke.

In Batman: The Killing Joke, the Joker wreaked havoc on Gotham City with some of his most dastardly schemes. Batman finally caught the Joker and offered to help him recover in order to end their everlasting war. The Joker said it was far too late for that, then said that this situation reminds him of a joke about two inmates in an asylum who try to escape. One inmate jumps across a narrow gap between the asylum and the adjoining building, but the other is afraid he will fall. The first inmate offers to shine his flashlight across the gap so the other can walk across it, but the second inmate replies, “What do you think I am, crazy? You’d turn it off when I was halfway across!” Batman and Joker shared a laugh at the punchline, and that image is captured on this t-shirt.

The Killing Joke is regarded by many as the greatest Joker story ever told. Now, you can show that you are a fan with this Joker’s Punchline Batman T-Shirt!
