Vega first appeared as a non-playable boss in Street Fighter II before becoming a playable character in the Champion Edition. Vega was a narcissistic bodyguard to M. Bison when he wasn’t fighting. When Vega did fight, he wore the white mask. Vega wore the mask to protect his face from scarring because he thought he was so beautiful.
