In the Saw franchise, John Kramer is diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. Embittered by this diagnosis, he decides to spend his last remaining days testing other peoples’ will to live to make them appreciate their lives. John, now using the name “The Jigsaw Killer”, uses a puppet named Billy to inform his victims of his deadly games and about the rules and instructions they had to follow in order to survive.
